Ladies’s math Olympiad held at DU
Ten feminine college students from totally different universities received prizes on the Ladies’s Math Olympiad that was held yesterday at Dhaka College, marking Worldwide Ladies’s Day.
The competitors was organized by the Bangladesh Ladies’s Arithmetic Olympiad Committee, AF Mujibur Rahman Basis of Math and DU Utilized Math Division.
No less than 120 feminine individuals took half in it.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the day long-programme.
The winners obtained certificates, crests and prize cash from chief visitor Mustafa Jabbar, minister for posts and telecommunications, and Prof Muhammad Samad, pro-VC of DU.
Science College dean Prof Abdus Samad, Jatiya Press Membership president Farida Yasmin, trustee of AF Mujibur Rahman Basis Khushi Kabir, Arithmetic division chairman Prof Shahidul Islam spoke, amongst others.
The programme was carried out by Dr Tania Sharmin Khaleque, common secretary of the Olympiad committee, presided over by its president Prof Chandra Nath Podder.
